Production blog : week 3

What have you contributed to this week?

In this week me and my partner finished our shooting script and began doing, writing up risk assessments and our call sheets, we managed to complete the risk assessments, it was simple as there went many risks at the first couple places we were going to film at. We focused on things such as, the weather and people, we chose this because they seemed like the most important things and this is something we have to keep an eye on all the time.

How does this fit in with the production schedule/job roles/overall ideas of the project?

The reason why this fits in, because without doing it, we may come across with certain issues with filming that may cost us money or set us back a long way so it’s important that we get this done to the most detailed level.

Were there any problems?

There were some problems; most of them were simply thinking of things that would affect our filming , such as the weather and people. How we managed to solve them, was to look back at our shooting script and attempt to visualise each shot, and work out the risks in each shot.

What are the plans for the following week?

In the following week, me and my partner have agreed to finish all the important paper work so that we can start filming by this Wednesday, the paper works consists of the final weekly production, where we will say exactly what needs filming on each particular day, and the others is to make sure we have everything secured when we actually film.
